Configure Single Sign-On for Josef Q

This article explains how to to enable Single Sign On for Josef Q.

By enabling Single-Sign On, you can restrict access to Josef Q to only users in your Microsoft Entra ID tenant or Okta Directory.

Feature details

  • Access to Josef Q Dashboard will be restricted to users in your Microsoft Entra ID tenant or Okta Directory. 
  • Access to Josef Q tools will be restricted to users you have assigned to your SSO application.
  • Users who are not assigned to your SSO application will be redirected to an error page.

Enable this feature

To enable this feature, please complete the following:

  1. Create an SSO application with your provider (Entra ID or Okta).
    1. Josef Q supports both OIDC and SAML.
    2. Assign the users you wish to use Josef Q to your SSO application. 
    3. If there are any configuration details you may need from us, please reach out to your Josef account manager.
  2. Share the SSO app details with your Josef Q account manager to configure for your organisation.
  3. Once enabled, your Josef Q users will need to first authenticate via SSO to access the Q Dashboard or Q tools.
