Integrate SharePoint with Josef Q
This article will demonstrate how you can integrate SharePoint with your Q account.
How to connect SharePoint to your Josef Q account
You can now integrate your SharePoint document libraries directly with Q. Here’s how to complete the setup and start building tools with your SharePoint content.
Initial setup
Step 1. Connect to SharePoint
- From the Josef Q Dashboard, click on the Integrations tab.
- Select SharePoint > Add Instance.
- Click Connect and follow the prompts to authenticate your SharePoint account to enable secure access.
- Once you see a successful connection message before proceeding, click Next.
Josef uses a secure SharePoint connection solely to download and read your folders and files. No modifications or alterations will be made to your data and only you have access to your SharePoint integration. If you have any questions, please contact support.
Step 2. Select your SharePoint site
- Choose the SharePoint site where your documents are located.
- Click Next when you're ready.
Step 3. Pick a SharePoint Document Library
- Use the drop-down menu to select the document library you want to connect. When you later create your tool, you can choose content from this document library to build your tools.
- Click Finish when you're ready to save your integration.
The SharePoint integration icon should now be green indicating success.
When you create a new tool, you'll now have the option to select a folder within your SharePoint Document Library.
✅ Once you’ve configured these steps, head to the Tools tab to create your Q tool using SharePoint documents.
