Pull external data into bots via APIs
Builders can now automatically populate their bots with data from third-party applications, datasets and more using Josef's inbound API functionality.
This data can then populate variables which, in turn, can feature in documents, notifications and also determine bot logic.
Fixes
Export & re-upload documents
We've fixed a few pesky bugs concerning the export & re-upload feature, including
- If a builder makes text rules expand over multiple paragraphs by hitting Enter, or
- They create line breaks using Enter between separate variables listed next to each other.
These would previously prevent users from downloading external documents via the bot UI. No longer!
We've also fixed an issue where, if a block contains multiple rules, and one of them has an undefined value, only that rule will be removed after import (not all the rules associated with that block).
Improvements
Performance
We've increased performance (i.e. the speed) of bots in Form view featuring single choice or multiple choice responses.
