June 2025 (Release 25 - 27)

What’s new

Update Documents in Multiple-File Tools

Creators can now update documents in multi-file tools by initiating the update wizard via the new Update button in the Content tab.

  • Updating a document sets affected answers (responses that rely on the old document) as inactive, and refreshes your knowledge base with the latest content.
  • New questions will use the new knowledge base.

Document Status Indicators

Easily see the status of each document (“Active” or “Action Required”) right in the Content tab. Badges in document drop-downs make it simple to identify what needs attention.

Improvements

Cleaner, modern UI:

  • Styling improvements have been made across the Ask experience, with outdated design classes replaced for a more consistent and modern look.
  • Improved source card navigation: Source cards now have automatic scrolling and better hover effects, making it easier to explore and review your sources.
  • The content update experience is now unified for single and multi-file tools. Updated UI displays actions clearly, hides irrelevant options, and keeps things tidy for SharePoint-connected tools.
  • Reduced long load times when moderating large knowledge bases.

Bug fixing:

  • You’ll no longer see “Tool is unavailable” messages flash up unnecessarily in the Ask UI for unpublished tools.
  • Bug where only tool creators could ask questions in some tools is fixed—now access works by user role and publishing status as expected.
  • Fixed redirect glitches—now users only see intended loading screens when access is restricted or login is required.
  • Engagement page reliability: Fixed an issue where the engagement page would fail to load if there was a tool stuck in an “Update in progress” state.
