Manage topics
Use topics to categorise your questions in Josef Q
With topics, Josef Q tools will be able to automatically categorise questions into relevant topics, reviewable in the Q Dashboard.
Topics will enable you to easily:
- review the types of questions your tools are getting
- review & add relevant candidates to your training set
- identify areas to improve in your knowledge base

To add a topic, you can use the New topic button in the Customisation tab. Each topic:
- must include a topic label (a short name to help you recognise the topic in reports and reviews);
- must include a topic name (for Josef to use to categorise questions);
- optionally include topic keywords (to help Josef categorise questions)
Each tool can have up to 10 topics.
In the Reporting tab:
- You will be able to review the topic applied to incoming questions to tools.
- Use the Download button to download a full report to review the breakdown of topics in your tools.

In the Training tab:
- You will be able to review the topic applied to incoming questions to tools.
- Topics can be useful for Creators and Editors to assign and review training candidates to manage in the training set.

Deleting topics
- If a Creator deletes a topic from the Customisation tab:
- that topic in the Training tab applied to any questions will become uncategorised
- that topic in the Reporting tab applied to any question will remain as a historical record
